JOHN REINHARDT: My wife, Lynn, and I moved (from Illinois) to Brookline, Vermont in 1984. We have one daughter who is currently attending Keene State College. We also have a Jack Russell named Zoey.
I attended Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, WI, and Parkland Junior College in Champaign, Illinois.
I have served on the Brookline Elementary School and Leland & Gray High School Boards. I am a member of the Brookline Community Group. I am a fan of Formula 1.
I began working with computers and the Internet in 1970 as a computer repairman in the U.S. Army. I was stationed at the European Communications Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany during the Vietnam war.
I have since maintained my interest in electronics and computers. I own an original IBM PC (1981). I have used every Microsoft operating system from the early DOS days through every version of Windows.
As a book designer (www.bookdesign.com), the web is a natural environment for me to apply my ability to create pages appropriate for reading and comprehension. The web offers many unique challenges and opportunities and, like printed media, the design is critical to the site’s success. My experience in communication design reaches far deeper than simply knowing how to use web design software.
2WiredGuys is all about “being there” for you. No matter what, no matter when, we’ll do our best to help. We don’t claim to know everything about computers (far from it!), but we do know how to help you use your computer.
